Benefits and Award Redemption regulations effective from November 1, 2018 |
| Members’ Benefits |
A maximum of 5 passengers traveling with a Platinum member can check in at SkyPriority counter. |
| Clarification of the Lotus lounge (Business lounge) entry priority: a Platinum member can invite one guest who must travel on the same flight with the Platinum member (The flight can be Vietnam Airlines’ or by a SkyTeam member airline). |
| In case that a member has 2 SkyTeam frequent flyer membership cards or more (including Vietnam Airlines’ Lotusmiles card), the mileage accrual and offered benefit will be based on one membership card only for each flight. |
| Lotusmiles Awards |
Lotusmiles Gold and Platinum members are entitled to redeem Lotus Lounge (Business lounge) awards on Vietnam Airlines flights departing from Vietnam for one person in the nominee list traveling on the same flight with the member. Another 20% of the mileage will be deducted if the beneficiary is non-nominee. |
| In case members want to rebook the award tickets on Vietnam Airlines, if there is no direct flight on the new date, members can take transit flights via Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and submit to tax and charges (if any). |
| The excess baggage award can be rebooked free of charge accordingly if the flight date has been changed. |
