Vietnam Airlines has launched two incentive programs for distinguished students and children aged below 12 from June 2019.
Each elementary, secondary and high school student, who has won any of the first three prizes in competitions for distinguished students at the provincial level or cities (under the central government’s control), or any prize from national or international competition, will be presented with one free ticket per prize for a trip between Vietnam and Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore or Malaysia. The prize winner only needs to bring a copy of the winning certificate and the original (for collation), ID card or the birth certificate to Vietnam Airlines ticket office to receive the award ticket and pay some relates taxes and fees. The “Ticket-Gift for Distinguished Students” program is valid for tickets issued from June 1 to August 31, 2019 and the trip completed between June 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020. The free ticket excludes taxes and fees.
Vietnam Airlines has also begun a program entitled “Buy 2 adult tickets, get 1 child ticket free” for the routes between Vietnam – Thailand/Singapore/Malaysia for children aged below 12 years. Passengers buying two adult Economy tickets will be entitled to 1 free ticket for a child (excluding taxes and fees, provided they travel in one booking and have tickets issued together). The program is valid for tickets issued on June 1-30, 2019, and the trip completed between June 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020.
These programs are the resonance of Vietnam Airlines’ “Flights of Love” campaign – a series of social activities in which the airline extends attention and special care to the young generation of the country.
