As from December 1, 2019, Lotusmiles begins the following policy:
Titanium members are entitled to redeem rewards for family members and friends.
Award miles can be converted into qualifying miles/sectors for membership tier upgrade.
1. Titanium members can redeem the following rewards:
• Award tickets for themselves and relatives;
• Award tickets of seat upgrade for themselves and relatives;
• Excess baggage allowance for themselves and relatives;
• Member’s awards with partners MobiFone and AccorPlus.
A Titanium member can assign a maximum of 5 persons for the Award Nominee List.
The list cannot be deleted; Subject to expansion should there be less than five people; Name change for one person is free of charge within one calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
2. Converting award miles to qualifying miles/sectors
Lotusmiles members are entitled to convert accumulated award miles into qualifying miles/sectors in order to upgrade the membership tier.
The fees for conversion are as follows:
• In Vietnam:
15,000 award miles = 1,000 qualifying miles or 1 qualifying sector;
Conversion fee is VND 235,000/transaction.
• In other markets:
15,000 award miles = 1,000 qualifying miles or 1 qualifying sector;
Conversion fee is USD 10/transaction.
The conversion is based on package, with each package containing 1,000 qualifying miles or 1 qualifying sector.
The maximum amount of qualifying miles/sectors for conversion is 20,000 qualifying miles or 20 qualifying sectors per calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
Note: The conversion can only be done in one account, but not from one account to another.
