1. Ways to Earn Miles with Lotusmiles

A Lotusmiles member can enjoy many benefits in line with his membership tier, such as claiming award tickets for oneself and for relatives, check-in at priority counters, enjoying extra baggage for free or access to Business lounges etc.

Lotusmiles members can also earn miles for using the following services offered by the Program’s partners:

2. Tet Travel at Super Cost-Saving Fares
 
Vietnam Airlines offers air fares starting from VND 499,000/one way (including tax and fees) on many domestic routes. The deal is valid for tickets issued from now to December 31, 2019, and travels from January 17 to February 8, 2020 (in the period of the Lunar New Year festival, also known as Tet). 3. Buy Air Tickets Using Cash & Miles

Lotusmiles members can use both cash and miles to pay for tickets on Vietnam Airlines-operated flights (with carrier code VN).
Miles can be used for paying partially or fully the value of the air ticket, while they cannot be used for payment of taxes, fees and other surcharges.
• The minimum mileage required for the ticket purchase is 2,000 miles per 1 passenger per 1 flight sector.
• Tickets bought jointly by Cash and Miles are eligible for earning miles as per Lotusmiles Program policy.
 
Notes:
• Refund policy: Miles cannot be refunded;
• Lotusmiles member can buy tickets by Cash and Miles for accompanying persons if they all share the same reservation code with the member.
• The value of the miles used in Cash and Miles payment is determined at the time of ticket purchase, flight date, itinerary, booking class and the selling channel.
• Members can use miles to cover paid seat selection and prepaid baggage while buying ticket by Cash and Miles (depending on availability).
• Members can buy tickets on the website www.vietnamairlines.com, or at Vietnam Airlines branch offices.
 
4. Buy Tickets Online, Double Bonus Miles
 
All you need to do to enjoy premier benefits for flying Vietnam Airlines is to buy tickets online at www.vietnamairlines.com or via Vietnam Airlines mobile app, and you will earn double bonus miles.
The offer is valid for tickets issued, and flights taken by December 31, 2019.
Notes: Members should insert the Lotusmiles membership card number when buying ticket online.

5. Fly High, Get Higher Tier


Lotusmiles Program would like to offer you the attractive membership upgrade opportunities as below:
 
❋ A gift of instant Gold-tier membership for members who buy ticket and take a Business Flex Fare Class round-trip (booking class J, C) to England/France/Germany;
 
❋ A gift of instant Gold-tier membership to Titanium members who:
 • Buy and fly Business Flex Fare Class round-trip (booking class J/ C) to Japan or South Korea.
 • Buy ticket and take a Premium Economy Class round-trip (booking class W/Z/U*) to Australia, or two round-trips to Japan.

6. Get Lotusmiles Gold Tier for Flying Business Class to Russia, Australia
 
Lotusmiles members will get the membership tier upgraded to Gold immediately for taking a Flex Fare Business Class round-trip flight (booking class J, C), with original departure from Vietnam to Russia or Australia.
The benefit applies to members who buy ticket for Vietnam Airlines-operated VN-coded flights, depart and complete the journey between October 15, 2019 and May 31, 2020.
 
Terms and Conditions:
• The deal applies to round-trip tickets, with the original departure from Vietnam and which include at least two direct flights between Hanoi /Ho Chi Minh City and Moscow/ Sydney/Melbourne.
• Tickets must be issued at agents/booking offices in Vietnam, via Vietnam Airlines app or the website (accessed from an IP address in Vietnam).
• The benefits apply to Titanium, Silver and Register members at the time of taking the flight.
• The benefit is not applicable in conjunction with other offers.
