Vietnam Airlines now stands ready to resume the Lotus Lounge/Business Lounge services at all domestic airports as of May 8, 2020.
The policy applies to all Business Class passengers, Lotusmiles members and other guests with eligible access to the Business Lounge.
The service protocol in the Lotus Lounge/Business Class Lounge will strictly follow the following rules:
- All guests shall have their temperature measured before entering the Lounge. Hand sanitizer solutions are served in all accessible areas such as doors, the reception area, bathrooms and toilets.
- The dining area, tables and chairs, relaxation areas, work areas and toilets are regularly cleaned in accordance with the procedures and recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
- Food materials strictly comply with regulations on food hygiene and safety.
- Food and drink to serve the guests are always covered or put in storage cabinets.
- The buffet area is re-designed with more space to ensure guests keep distance when picking up food.
- All catering utensils are washed, dried and sterilized according to standard procedures.
- The buffet area is arranged with stickers separated from the floor to guide the guests to stand in line.
- Tables and chairs are arranged to ensure space and ventilation.
- All lounges are sprayed every day with the disinfectants similar to that used on board; Toilets are disinfected by UV light.
- The staff have their temperature measured regularly. They must wear protective gear such as masks and medical gloves, use germ spray to wash their hands and undergo training on the hand washing process as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
- The staff are properly trained on using tools and equipment to clean all contact points.
These rules are the latest in Vietnam Airlines’ service to ensure health and safety for passengers and its staff.
