The Lotusmiles Program would like to notify all members of its new table of awards, in effect from October 1, 2020.

The redemption miles for all awards have been tailored to meet the market demand and made it easier for members’ claims. Specifically:

Award ticket  

A discount of award miles is applied to most flight sectors. In particular, the Business Class award ticket for the flights between Russia and Vietnam has a discount of 40,000 miles. Please refer to the Award Chart for air tickets here.

Upgrade award

In the spirit of offering more opportunities to members to experience Vietnam Airlines’ premium services, the number of miles used to claim for most of award tickets with seat upgrade has decreased sharply compared with the past. With only 3,000 award miles, Lotusmiles members can already experience the Business Class on short domestic routes such as Hanoi to Da Nang, Hue… or between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat, Phu Quoc… Especially, the discounts of mileage for flights between Vietnam and Europe ranged at between 15,000 and 40,000 miles. Excess Baggage reward

In meeting members’ demand, the Lotusmiles Program supplements a 10-kg baggage award package for domestic flights. Please refer to the Excess Baggage Award Chart for specific mileages here.

• Award tickets apply to VN-coded flights, operated by Vietnam Airlines (VN), Vasco (0V) or Pacific Airlines (BL).
• Upgrade and Excess Baggage awards are applicable to VN-coded flights operated by Vietnam Airlines only.
