The year 2021 with many changes has gone by. The world has never faced such tough challenges: Countries had to close borders, economies stagnated. In that context, Lotusmiles Program has made its best effort to overcome obstacles. Incentive programs have been launched one after another to protect the interests of Lotusmiles members – Vietnam Airlines’ closest customers.

In this difficult time, Lotusmiles would like to express its sincere thanks for the companionship and loyalty of all members. In particular, the Program would like to honor two Lotusmiles members who have made the most contributions in the past two years:

As soon as the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Vietnam, along with measures to protect passengers’ health, Vietnam Airlines has quickly issued a policy to extend membership cards and bonus miles with the desire that its members will further enjoy premium incentives on flights right after the pandemic is under control. Moreover, many incentive programs have been launched to make it easy for members to upgrade their membership tier.

Improving service quality so customers will get the best experience makes the top criterion in Vietnam Airlines’ business activities.

With new technology in place, from now on Lotusmiles members can easily access their account in various ways, using phone number, email or account number with security enhanced by face and fingerprint recognition.

In addition, the procedures of claiming awards and adding miles have been significantly improved.

	The time to get bonus miles credited to the account will be shortened to around 120 minutes after arrival from 5 days before.
	Platinum and Gold members can claim the Business Lounge access award for one relative at the Lounge’s reception desk instead of the check-in counter.
	The rebooking fee (VND 600,000) collected when Lotusmiles members rebook award ticket’s flights in the high season has been abolished.

In 2021, the Lotusmiles Program has made good impression with the launch of many new products, which have been warmly received by members. The products are listed in the table below.

Family account: Joining a Family Account, members will immediately receive 1,000 bonus miles each. Members of the same Family Account traveling on the same flight will each receive an additional 20 percent of bonus miles.

Cash & Miles: A new method to buy air tickets.

LotusMall: Apart from claiming air tickets, bonus miles can be used to redeem gifts easily at LotusMall.

Desired Number Brings Wonder: Choose lucky number for the Lotusmiles card or for relatives as desired.

Lotusmiles has implemented many incentive programs in 2021, such as:

Double bonus miles and get an extra 5 percent discount for buying tickets online. Special gifts from the Seafood World and Hatoyama Japanese restaurant. A 15-percent discount on room rates at 10 Marriott Bonvoy Portfolio of hotels in Vietnam. A 10-percent discount on room and F&B rates at InterContinental Hotels Group. An award of 500 bonus miles for referring new members.

Lotusmiles is going to offer new products in coming time, such as Lotus Bingo, preferential card tier protection for female members during maternity, more incentives for Million Milers... Besides, special attention has been paid to improving service quality and expanding the ecosystem with many incentives for members.
