Advance Seat Selection To Raise Flying Comfort

After a trial period, Vietnam Airlines has applied a new policy on providing all passengers with advance seat selection as of August 15, 2023.

In order to get a preferable seat, you should choose or pre-purchase seats when purchasing tickets. Lotusmiles members can enjoy free or discount on seat selection fees depending on the purchased ticket price and the membership tier, specifically as follows:

• While buying tickets at the website www.vietnamairlines.com or using Vietnam Airlines app: Please enter your Lotusmiles membership information.
• While at Vietnam Airlines ticket offices or agents: Please advise the staff attending you to enter your membership card number and select a seat.

Lotusmiles members are prioritized to pick a seat in advance until 26 hours before the flight departure. After this time, all available seats will be opened for online checking-in passengers (not applicable to Super Lite Economy tickets).
