Baggage Tag Scan Required for Connecting Flights at Charles de Gaulle Airport

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in France is one of the largest airport in the world, with a huge number of connecting baggage and passengers.

To ensure security, airport authorities have invested in a baggage control system. It is connected to airlines’ check-in and flight management systems to control passenger’s baggage being loaded onto the designated flight.

The baggage, the tag of which is not scanned in the system before departure, may not be loaded onto the flight.

Therefore, in order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience for your baggage when transiting at CDG, please show your baggage tags at the transfer desk or boarding gate for our staff to scan in the check-in system of your next connecting flight.

This process helps the baggage handling department control that your baggage has been loaded on the correct flight.
