Lotusmiles has changed the policy on Membership tier qualification as of January 1, 2024 to allow members to easily upgrade their card tiers when buying tickets and flying at flexible fares.
The changes include the following key changes.

A change in the coefficient rate on Vietnam Airlines flights in line with the trend of many other airlines in the world: Incentives are applied based on the ticket fares. Airfares from Economy Flex and above will mean a higher mileage accrual rate. |

A change in the coefficient rate on SkyTeam flights: From January 20, 2024, Lotusmiles members with Economy Class tickets taking SkyTeam flights will have their qualifying miles added with a coefficient of 0.5 instead of 1 as before. The rules for First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy tickets remain unchanged. Please refer to the details here. |
