Vietnam Airlines Raises Wide-body Aircraft Frequency on Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City Route

Vietnam Airlines has officially begun operating wide-body aircraft on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route, with a frequency of 2 hours/flight, giving passengers the opportunity to experience more often the world’s most modern aircraft such as Airbus A350s, Boeing 787-9s and especially Boeing 787-10s, currently Vietnam’s largest airplane.

Dubbed as “the super aircraft”, Vietnam Airlines’ wide-body planes can accommodate more than 300 passengers per flight in average. New-technology engines help smooth flight experience and halve the noise, compared to previous generation aircraft. Business class seats that can be reclined into a resting bed, with additional amenities such as a personal entertainment screen, USB charging port at the seat, large luggage compartment and windows etc. are the advantages highly appreciated by passengers.

Currently Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific) is operating nearly 40 flights per day between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with a frequency of 30 minutes to one hour /flight. The flights are arranged to start at a round time frame, easy to remember, lasting between 5:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. In order to make travels convenient and help passengers save time on waiting and completing procedures at the airport, separate check-in counters and boarding gates are arranged for passengers.

By increasing the frequency of wide-body aircraft flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Airlines is improving a flexible flying experience, ensuring maximum comfort for passengers traveling on the country’s busiest journey.
