Vietnam Airlines will operate new routes linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with the Indian city of Mumbai as of May 20, 2023.
The new air link will open up attractive opportunities for passengers wishing to visit the city that is considered the commercial and cultural center of the South Asian country.
The airline will have four flights weekly on the Hanoi-Mumbai route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, while three flights per week will be available on the Ho Chi Minh City-Mumbai route on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using Airbus A321 aircraft.
On the occasion of inaugurating the routes, Vietnam Airlines has offered a special deal for flights between Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City and Mumbai, with tickets bought via its website, Vietnam Airlines app as well as the airline’s ticket offices and official agents.
The round-trip fares start from USD 199 only. The incentive applies to tickets purchased between now and May 26 for flights on May 20-26, 2023.
Mumbai is India’s second city to which Vietnam Airlines opens a route. The airline has been operating a direct flight connecting Vietnam with the capital New Delhi since June 2022. The route to Mumbai will make an important contribution to enhancing trade, cultural and social connections between the two countries.
