Starting from June 2018, Vietnam Airlines has launched two incentive programs for pupils and children aged below 12.
Each secondary and high school student, who has won any of the first three prizes in competitions for distinguished students at the provincial level or cities (under the central government’s control), or any prize from national or international competition, will be presented with one free ticket per prize for a trip between Vietnam and Bangkok (Thailand) / Singapore / Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The prize winner only needs to bring a copy of the winning certificate and the original (for collation), ID card or the birth certificate to Vietnam Airlines’ ticket office to receive the award ticket and pay some relates taxes and fees. The “Gift-ticket for Distinguished Students” program is valid for 3 months from the date of the prize certificate, while departure can take place from now to May 31, 2019.
Vietnam Airlines has also begun the program “Buy 2 adult tickets, get 1 child ticket free” for the routes between Vietnam – Bangkok (Thailand) /Singapore /Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) for children aged below 12 years. Under this program, passengers who purchase two adult Economy tickets (booking class N and above) will be entitled to 1 free children ticket (excluding taxes and fees, provided they travel in one booking and have tickets issued together). The program is valid for tickets issued, and departure from now until March 31, 2019.
These programs are the resonance of Vietnam Airlines’ “Flights of Love” campaign – a series of social activities in which the airline extends its attention and special care to the young generation of the country.
