The two companies have announced their five-year strategic cooperation (2018 – 2023), aimed at providing nutrition products of internationally-recognised quality to customers around the world and jointly developing a national brand to reach the global level.
The deal envisages the display of Vinamilk’s products in specially designed packages carrying co-brand images aboard Vietnam Airlines flights departing from Vietnam, with quality ensured to serve the country’s only 4-star airline. The value of Vinamilk’s products on board of Vietnam Airlines is expected to grow 10 percent annually, demonstrating the effective and durable cooperation between the two companies.
The strategic cooperation between Vinamilk, Vietnam’s No.1 dairy product maker, and Vietnam Airlines further affirms the airline’s effort to bring traditional cultural products and the best products with Vietnamese brand to the world. In addition to Vinamilk providing nutrition products to Vietnam Airlines and its subsidiaries, the two companies will cooperate in other sectors, such as co-branding in some events, marketing; sharing experience in managing and operating the supply chains, warehousing systems and consumer market information. More specifically, the two sides have also pledged to run community support campaigns, helping Vietnamese dreams fly higher.
Vinamilk has been the supplier of nutrition products to Vietnam Airlines flights since 1996, including canned juice, canned fresh milk, pasteurized fresh milk and yogurt. The products have received high recognition among passengers of Vietnam Airlines, which has won the ranking of an international 4-star airline for three consecutive years.
