Starting from October 8, Vietnam Airlines has begun selling tickets for travels on all domestic routes around the Lunar New Year Festival 2019, also known as Tet.
Vietnam Airlines will provide 1.4 million seats on its domestic network from January 20, 2019 to February 19, 2019 (December 15 to January 15 on the lunar calendar), an increase of more than 100,000 seats (or 566 flights) from the same period a year ago.
Jetstar Pacific has sold nearly 600,000 seats (or 3,210 flights) to serve the rising demand of passengers around Tet. The two companies continue to maintain a wide range of fares with flexible rates to best meet the needs of passengers, and recommend that passengers should book early to ensure a good seat during the peak season.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines has been using modern aircraft for its domestic routes, including Boeing 787s, Airbus A350s and A321s with SkyTrax 4-star quality service. Vietnam Airlines’ Customer Service and its Facebook fan page work around the clock to assist passengers. At the same time, Vietnam Airlines has launched in-town check-in services in Hanoi and Da Nang to save time and increase passenger benefits.
Jetstar Pacific has also strengthened its staff and prepared early its service plans, promptly completing the maintenance of the Airbus A320 fleet for the Tet holiday.
