Vietnam Airlines has officially welcomed a new Airbus A321neo plane on November 17, 2018, the start of a plan to add 20 narrow-body aircraft with delivery scheduled by the end of next year. This very strategy has been launched by Vietnam Airlines right after the successful renovation of the wide-body aircraft fleet, with two models of the world’s most modern Boeing 787-9s and Airbus A350-900s.
Airbus A321neo has many advantages over the previous A321ceo, adding an advanced wireless entertainment system, spacious space, comfortable seats, fuel saving and an environmental friendly function, which will improve the efficiency and meet the rising standard of Vietnam Airlines’ products and services.
With the A321neo fleet, Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Vietnam to pioneer trendy technologies involving a wireless streaming system to deliver movies and music at a standard similar to that on Boeing 787s and A350s, helping personalize service for passengers. Their electronics (tablet, smartphone, laptop …) can be used in the airplane mode to access the inflight entertainment system. The official launch of the wireless entertainment system on A321neo flights is scheduled on December 1, 2018.
