Noibai Catering Services (NCS) has held an inauguration ceremony of a food-processing facility to mark the 25th year of establishment and also affirm a step forward by Vietnam Airlines in improving its service quality.
The new factory has a total area of 21,074 square metres, including three floors and a basement with modern technology equipment. Its capacity is designed to make up to 35,000 meals per day, or 3.5 times the capacity of its previously founded facility.
Investment has been placed in advanced technology and equipment to meet strictly requirements on inflight meal processing technology, hygiene and food safety standards as prescribed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Food Organization. Apart from the supply to Vietnam Airlines, its parent firm, NCS also provides meals for more than 25 domestic and international airlines, including five-star standard carriers such as All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Japan Airlines.
