Vietnam Airlines Opens Two New Routes in January 2019

Vietnam Airlines is set to open two new routes in the second half of January 2019 as it seeks to expand the domestic flight network and meet passengers’ travel need, the airline has announced.

Daily flights on the Ho Chi Minh City-Chu Lai route are scheduled to start on January 15 while those connecting the cities of Da Nang and Can Tho would begin on January 31, both using Airbus A321 aircraft with 4-star quality service.

Flights depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 07:45 a.m., from Chu Lai at 09:45 a.m.; from Da Nang at 6:30 p.m. and from Can Tho at 07:15 a.m.

The inauguration of the Ho Chi Minh City-Chu Lai and the Da Nang-Can Tho routes will strengthen the connectivity of provinces in the central region with Ho Chi Minh City and those in the Mekong Delta, while at the same time meeting a growing demand for tourism and trade.

Besides, the Da Nang-Can Tho flights will help broaden customers’ option as travelling from Da Nang to Can Tho will be extended to Con Dao, using the Can Tho-Con Dao air link operated by VASCO,  a member unit of Vietnam Airlines.
