Vietnam Airlines will start flying Airbus A350-900s and Boeing 787-9s, the latest generation of wide-body aircraft, on the routes to Singapore and Thailand from this April to meet an increasing travel demand and in preparations for the summer 2019 peak season. The airplane deployment will mark the first opportunity for passengers of the nation carrier to experience 4-star international standard services on flights between Vietnam and Southeast Asian destinations.
The airline will use Airbus A350-900 aircraft for the Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore route while flying Boeing 787-9s between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok, along with the current flights on the same route by Airbus A321 planes.
On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines offers attractive airfares for a round-trip ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore at just VND 816,000, and at VND 679,000 from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. These prices exclude taxes and fees and are valid for tickets issued, and departures on Airbus A350-900 flight VN657 (from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore) and Boeing 787-9 flight VN607 (from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok) between April 1 and May 31, 2019.
