Starting from May 20, 2019, Vietnam Airlines begins offering a new Super Savings Price – No Checked Baggage air fare for flights between Vietnam and Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, the first time the airline has such a new product to satisfy passengers’ needs for dynamic, compact and thrift travel. Besides, Vietnam Airlines furthers existing incentive programs including that with checked baggage.
Now, passengers travelling without checked baggage will still enjoy the 4-star quality service on Vietnam Airlines’ flights in Southeast Asia with an appealing price starting at VND 350,000/round trip (taxes and charges not included), or up to 50 percent down from the fare with baggage. Passengers can still carry one piece of 7-kg hand luggage and be served with inflight meal. If arises a demand for checked baggage, passengers may choose to purchase Vietnam Airlines’ additional prepaid baggage packages (with the condition of buying at least 6 hours before the departure time) or buy the checked baggage directly at airport.
