Vietnam Airlines will open two new routes from October 27, 2019 connecting Ho Chi Minh City with two of the region’s most famous tourist islands, Bali in Indonesia, and Phuket in Thailand, to meet passengers’ increasing demand.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route will be operated with a frequency of five flights per week, and rising to seven flights per week from April 2020. Besides, the Ho Chi Minh City-Phuket route, Vietnam Airlines’ third between Vietnam and Thailand, will start with a frequency of three flights/week. Apart from these two new routes, Vietnam Airlines will also resume operation of the air link connecting the coastal city of Da Nang with Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, from October 27, 2019.
On the occasion of inaugurating the new routes, Vietnam Airlines offers passengers a special deal with discounts of up to 50 percent for a round-trip ticket. Specifically, from September 20 to November 10, 2019, passengers can buy round-trip tickets for the Ho Chi Minh City-Phuket route from just USD 19 (equivalent to VND 455,000) and for the Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route only from USD 69 (equivalent to VND 1.65 million).
From September 20 to November 30, 2019, a round-trip ticket on the Da Nang-Bangkok route is offered from only USD 15 (equivalent to VND 360,000). Conditions on the departure time are applied, while taxes and fees are not included.
In particular, Lotusmiles members will be entitled to the following privileges when buying tickets and flying on the Ho Chi Minh City-Bali/Phuket and Da Nang-Bangkok routes:
– Receiving 2,019 bonus miles immediately for taking each flight with eligible booking classes from October 27 to December 31, 2019.
– Platinum members will get Business class upgrade when purchasing round-trip tickets with booking classes W, Z, U, Y, B, M, S, H, K, L, Q, N and R.
The special deal applies to tickets issued from September 16 to November 30, 2019 and departures between October 27 and December 20, 2019 with condition that Business class is available. Please, contact Vietnam Airlines branch offices for upgrade tickets.
