In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Operation Control Centers located outside Vietnam Airlines’ headquarters have been activated and ready for 24/7 activities.
These OCC have full features and resources to ensure smooth and stable operation of flights, flight timetable, technical issues, and services … in all situations. In addition, the airline’s Board of Directors has assigned several deputy general directors to work at Vietnam Airlines’ southern operating center in Ho Chi Minh City to look after operation management if the pandemic escalates.
Earlier, Vietnam Airlines has adopted contingency, work-from-home plans for managers and staff. It has also launched an online video conferencing system, allowing employees to exchange professional matters anywhere, anytime without having to engage in face-to-face meetings as part of the measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
