Sharing with members the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam Airlines’ Lotusmiles Program implements the following policy on extending membership tier and reward miles.
Extension of Lotusmiles Card
Members holding Platinum, Gold or Titanium card, which are due to be downgraded between March 1 and December 31, 2020, will get the following extensions:
• A 12-month extension from the downgrade date is given to the members who fall short of one to two qualifying flights, or a maximum 1,000 qualifying miles in order to maintain their membership tier for the next qualifying period.
• A six-month extension from the downgrade date for the remaining cases.
Applicable only to the members who have at least one qualifying mile transaction in the latest qualifying period.
Extension of Expiring Reward Miles

Note: Each member can benefit from an extension once only.
