From now on, passengers flying to/from Con Dao (connecting flights via Tan Son Nhat airport) only need to check in once. This is one of the service improvements by Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco) in order to provide more convenient, easier and faster services for passengers travelling to/from Con Dao.
Accordingly, passengers will receive two boarding passes for both the flights right at the departure airport. Checked baggage will be sent directly to the final destination of the journey. At the connection point, which is Tan Son Nhat airport, passengers go straight through the security screening area for boarding without having to call at the check-in counter.
The rapid transfer policy applies to passengers traveling on the flights operated by Vietnam Airlines or Pacific Airlines, departing from a domestic airport and taking Vasco’s connecting flight at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) to Con Dao or vice versa.
Con Dao is one of the attractive destinations with beautiful wild beaches, primeval forests with many rare creatures and unique historical sites. Furthermore, an absolutely different Con Dao exists in the turtle-laying season. Seeing turtles dig their nest, lay eggs, watching the eggs hatch and releasing baby turtles to the sea are all of a particularly interesting and rare experience during this island visit.
