As the Lunar New Year festival, widely known in Vietnam as Tet, draws closer, passengers’ travel demand has been rising. In order to have a smooth journey during this peak period, Vietnam Airlines would like to ask passengers to take the following notes:
Complete medical declaration before flights
In order to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, passengers must clear their mandatory medical declaration before making domestic flights by using the online health declaration form at: tokhaiyte.vn, or via the Health Declaration app.
Use alternate check-in services
Passengers should complete the check-in procedures in advance using the phone number 19006265 (flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City), the website or the app (flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Cam Ranh). Check-in can also be completed in town (flights from Hanoi) or at check-in kiosks at the airports of Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang and Cam Ranh.
Identification documents handy
Passengers need to have identification documents handy before going to the airport, including: ID card (or passport); Valid birth certificate for children as stipulated; Itinerary or the flight reservation code; Online medical report proof; Boarding pass stored on the phone or in a hard copy (for check-ins via the web/app)…

For a swift security check, please have your ID papers and boarding pass handy.
Luggage packed as regulated
Passengers should pay attention to packing the luggage in accordance with regulations and refrain from bringing carry-on baggage over the standard.
