Support for Passengers in COVID-19 Quarantine
In order to ensure interests for passengers, Vietnam Airlines provides support in changing the flight dates and times for those who undergo the quarantine period or face restricted travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Specifically, from February 3, 2021, the airline applies a one-time changing fee waiver, lifting the limit on changing the flight date or the route for the following passengers:
• Who are subject to a quarantine decision issued by the competent authority;
• Who are affected by regulations on lockdown, travel restrictions imposed by the authority. The passengers are required to present valid documents issued by the competent authority verifying their presence in the area and the period of quarantine or travel restriction in the locked area. The document should indicate the date of verification.
The support applies to passengers with domestic tickets issued before or on the day of the authority’s decision on quarantine or isolation, having the flight date within the period of quarantine or isolation.
