Self Check-in Service at Vinh Airport

For the first time, passengers departing from Vinh airport can check-in by themselves at kiosk at the airport, online via the website www.vietnamairlines.com or using Vietnam Airlines app.

Vietnam Airlines is currently the country’s leading airline in offering the check-in kiosk service at six domestic airports, namely Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang, Nha Trang’s Cam Ranh, Hai Phong and Vinh, along with other online services. These self-check-in procedures help passengers save travel time, making each journey more convenient and faster.

Passengers traveling without checked baggage can use the kiosk to choose seats, print the boarding pass and go straight to the security check and the boarding gate. These steps can be completed within two minutes. The required check-in time is between 24 hours and 45 minutes prior to departure time for domestic flights.

In addition, passengers flying off from Vinh city can check-in online via the website www.vietnamairlines.com and Vietnam Airlines app between 24 hours and 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. After completing the online check-in, passengers will have an “Online Boarding Pass” sent to their electronic device, or can choose to get a hard copy of the boarding pass, then go straight to the security check and the boarding gate without having to call at the airline’s airport check-in counter for verification.

The self check-in service has been increasingly used by passengers thanks to its convenience, giving them initiative while reducing the risk of COVID-19 infections due to direct contact.
