Conquering the strictest criteria of an independent rating agency such as Skytrax proves the airline’s outstanding efforts in protecting health of passengers, employees and the community, thereby giving travellers more confidence and peace of mind while flying with Vietnam Airlines.
Since the pandemic began to flare up in Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines has immediately taken proactive research to put forward a plan, applied preventive measures and continuously assessed the actual situation in order to make timely adjustments, meeting health and safety standards of the airline, the Vietnamese government and international aviation and health organizations.
Skytrax’s assessment includes disease preventive measures applied by the airline in the process of passenger service, including: epidemic prevention information uploaded on the website; Cleaning and disinfection of aircraft and equipment for passenger service; Measures to limit exposure; Protective equipment for employees; Medical supplies for disease prevention; Passenger control procedures, incident handling measures and measures to adjust ground and inflight service standards to ensure epidemic prevention.
With this rating result, Vietnam Airlines affirms the 5-star safety and quality, placing it on par with airlines such as Qatar Airways, Korean Air, ANA and Japan Airlines.
