Vietnam Airlines will resume operation of the trans-Indochina route linking Hanoi with Luang Prabang in Laos and Siem Reap of Cambodia from July 1, 2023.
The flight frequency will be three weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using Airbus A321s. The airline plans to raise the frequency to five per week as of October 30, 2023.
Besides the above mentioned route, Vietnam Airlines has been operating another trans-Indochina air link between Hanoi, Vientiane (Laos), Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Ho Chi Minh City, with a frequency of 7 flights/week by Airbus A321 aircraft.

The restoration of the second trans-Indochina route between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia after a period of suspension due to the pandemic will bring many convenient flight options for tourists to visit world cultural heritages, while supporting Vietnam Airlines’ international flight network at the same time.
These routes will make positive contribution to the recovery and development of the regional tourism industry, while boosting trade, investment, and cultural exchange between Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
