Lotusmiles Milestone: 5 Mln Members with 5 Mln Experiences

Lotusmiles, Vietnam Airlines’ frequent flyer program, will reach 5 million members in August 2023, a remarkable achievement after over two decades in operation.

Having 5 million loyal customers aboard is a long journey of constant striving. Served as a link between Vietnam Airlines and passengers, providing a variety of information, benefits, high-quality services, the program established in December 1999 has grown to be a leader in the field of loyalty in Vietnam.

Lotusmiles members can enjoy many special privileges such as mile accumulation miles to redeem valuable rewards, access to Business Class lounges, priority check-in, free baggage allowance and priority baggage tagging.

Especially, after Vietnam Airlines joined SkyTeam alliance in 2010, Lotusmiles members can earn miles and redeem rewards at more than 20 airlines in the global alliance.

In 2022, Lotusmiles launched the Million Miler membership card, offering many outstanding lifetime privileges, which represents a testament to Vietnam Airlines’ respect for the great contributions of the most loyal customers.

Other incentives include accumulating bonus miles for buying insurance from Military Insurance Corporation, or linking Lotusmiles account with Techcombank Security account to exchange iXu for bonus miles or vice versa.
Members can also enjoy preferential discounts on golf services or use miles to pay bills at Hatoyama Japanese seafood restaurant system.
Having reached 5 million frequent flyers is a remarkable achievement, ranked as mid-range among SkyTeam alliance member airlines, and which proves the growth and continuous development of Vietnam Airlines.
