Vietnam Airlines has been applying a policy on providing all passengers with advance seat selection since August 15, 2023, following a trial period.
To secure a preferable seat, Lotusmiles members should choose, or pre-purchase seats when buying tickets. Members can enjoy fee exemption, or discounts on seat selection fees depending on the purchased ticket price and the membership tier.

While buying tickets at www.vietnamairlines.com or using Vietnam Airlines app: Please enter your Lotusmiles membership information. |

While at Vietnam Airlines ticket offices or agents: Please advise the staff attending you to enter your membership card number and select a seat. |
Lotusmiles members are prioritized to pick a seat in advance until 26 hours before the flight departure. After this time, all available seats will be opened for online checking-in passengers (not applicable to Super Lite Economy tickets).
