Look back at 2023 with Lotusmiles!

The milestone of Lotusmiles reaching 5.3 million members has marked an important step forward, taking Vietnam Airlines to a medium-sized frequent flyer airline in SkyTeam alliance.

Let’s join Lotusmiles in reviewing the achievements recorded in 2023 with the goal of “Protecting Rights – Increasing Incentives” for loyal members.

In order to gain members’ trust, Lotusmiles has continuously implemented preferential policies on card renewal/upgrade to protect customer interests in the post-COVID 19 period, including:

	Extension of membership tier qualification policy throughout 2023 – discounts of up to 20 percent on membership qualification criteria.
	Discounts of up to 30 percent on the mile selling price on special occasions, making it easy for members to renew/upgrade their tiers.

Lotusmiles has been constantly expanding cooperation in many fields, diversifying incentives and chances to accumulate and use miles. Members can earn miles when using partners’ services, such as:

Spending on co-branded credit cards, a cooperation product between Vietnam Airlines and reputable banks:

In 2023, Lotusmiles expanded cooperation to the securities sector for the first time. Members can link the Lotusmiles account with their Techcombank Security account to exchange iXu for bonus miles or vice versa.

Lotusmiles members also receive triple bonus miles when flying with tickets bought  online and paid with Visa Platinum, Visa Signature, Visa Infinite or Visa Commercial credit cards.

Lotusmiles now has more than 60 partners in aviation and non-aviation sectors and will further expand in 2024.

The year 2023 marks a new cooperation in health care between Lotusmiles and Hong Ngoc Hospital, Vinmec and T-Matsuoka Japanese Medical Center.

Lotusmiles members get comprehensive health care of Japanese standards right in Vietnam and enjoy special incentives when taking medical examination and treatment at Vinmec facilities.

The year 2023 marks a new development in Lotusmiles members’ community activities.

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of 1,501 members Vietnam Airlines has received 6.71 million bonus miles in donation to support doctors to perform 1,100 cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries, screening examinations and surgeries for 35,000 children with heart defects. They also successfully operated on 180 cases of complex head, face and neck defects.

Looking Forward to 2024 with New Plans

There will still be difficulties and challenges in 2024, but with our customer-centric goal and the spirit of constantly improving service quality, Lotusmiles will further create new programs and products so members can get comprehensive and complete experiences when flying with Vietnam Airlines and our partners.
